About me
Hi, I’m Ola
Cat sitter in Poznań and cat behaviour student.
Since 2020 I’ve lived with Manila, a cat who taught me that a cat is not “a lower-maintenance dog” but a universe of her own. She has her own rituals, boundaries, a favourite nap spot and a very firm opinion on who may touch her belly. Or rather: who absolutely may not.
Kocia Domówka offers cat care in the cat’s own home. It grew from a simple belief: for many cats the best holiday is the one they don’t have to go on. Instead of a carrier, stress, a strange place and a broken routine, they stay at home. In their own home. On their own armchair. Next to their own bowl. I come to them in Poznań and nearby and take care of everything else.
I have experience caring for cats with all kinds of personalities: from bold cuddlers to shy observers, from senior cats to energetic feather hunters. I keep learning through courses and training (including TTouch for cats, cat senses and supplements in a cat’s diet). As a volunteer at the Animal Security Foundation since 2022, I work with cats who need extra patience, calm and understanding. Since 2026 I’ve been a postgraduate student of Cat Behaviour at SWPS University.

In-home cat care: a visit your cat looks forward to
I visit cats in their homes in Poznań and nearby, once or twice a day. When a cat needs more attention, I come a third time. I adjust each visit to the cat’s personality and daily rhythm.
A full bowl and fresh water
I wash the bowls and feed your cat exactly the way it likes.
A clean litter box
I clean the litter box at every visit. If litter ends up outside it, I clean around it too.
Medication given calmly and on time
I give tablets, pastes and drops. I don’t give injections.
Play with a purpose
We play following the cat’s hunting cycle. I bring snuffle mats and wand toys, so every visit is a small hunt.
Affection for the lonely, patience for the shy
I stroke, cuddle or simply stay close. Your cat decides how much closeness it wants today.
News from home
During visits I send you photos and videos of your cat, so you can enjoy your trip without worrying.

30-minute visit
50 PLN

Basic cat care in Górczyn, Dębiec, Wilda, Łazarz and Grunwald: feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning and a short play session. Works well as a second visit of the day or for independent cats.
60-minute visit
90 PLN
Poznań and nearby, up to 30 minutes’ drive
Full cat care in Poznań and nearby: feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, medication, play following the hunting cycle and time together. I recommend it for cats who need exercise, company or treatment.
Surcharges
- More than 4 cats: 20 PLN per visit.
- Travel more than 30 minutes outside Poznań: 1 PLN per km.
- Public holidays: +50% of the base price. Applies to 1 and 6 January, Easter, 15 August, 1 and 11 November, and Christmas (24 to 26 December).

Is the introductory visit paid?
No. The introductory visit is free. I meet your cat at home, we agree on the care plan and you hand over the keys.
How many visits a day can I book?
One or two. If your cat needs it, I come three times a day.
Do you give medication?
Yes. Medication is included in the visit price: tablets, pastes and drops. I don’t give injections.
How will I know how my cat is doing while I’m away?
During visits I send you photos and videos of your cat.
When do I pay?
At the introductory visit or after the whole care period. No deposit.
How far in advance should I book?
At least one day before the visit, if the date is free.
Which areas do you cover?
I visit cats all over Poznań and nearby. If the drive from my home takes more than 30 minutes, I add 1 PLN per km.
Where is the 30-minute visit available?
Short 30-minute visits are available in Górczyn, Dębiec, Wilda, Łazarz and Grunwald. In other Poznań districts a short visit is possible with a travel fee of 1 PLN per km.
My cat is afraid of strangers. Will home care work?
Yes. I give your cat time, let it get used to my voice and presence, and leave treats at a distance. With every visit your cat feels more confident around me. I’m also studying cat behaviour, and I use that knowledge to look after your cat’s welfare.
Do you take cats into your home?
No. Cats are territorial animals and feel best in their own home. I don’t run a cat hotel. I come to your home and care for your cat there. I explain why home care is better for most cats in the article (in Polish) Cat hotel or a cat sitter at home?
